About Lance Dalgart
The skateboard industry has a lot of stars, personalities, and power players. Lance Dalgart isn’t one of them. He prefers to keep his work behind-the-scenes. But, if you’ve ever met Lance, you know he takes this work very seriously. Lance’s solidarity of vision first led him to, while still in high school, have a full page photo published in Thrasher Magazine’s “Photograffiti”. This opportunity ultimately landed him a job at Thrasher Magazine.
His job as staff photographer for Thrasher ended up being just a stepping stone for Lance, as he went on to hold positions at NHS (Santa Cruz Skateboards, Independent Trucks, Creature Skateboards), Transworld Skateboarding, Skateboarder Magazine, and most recently, Dogtown Skateboards, where he acts as Creative Liason.
While he now spends a lot of time in front of the computer screen, punching code, laying out ads and editing videos, Dalgart’s favorite view is still from behind the camera.
